Create your own storybook!
Students will plan, write, and illustrate their own original story! Each student will develop a short narrative with a clear beginning, middle, and end, then add drawings to show the setting and key events. For the art connection, students will illustrate their story’s setting and add it to their writing page. Once stories are complete, students will share their work through a partner “turn-and-talk” or a classroom gallery walk so everyone can celebrate their creative writing and artistic expression!
